1. Summary
CrossdresserLand is a private, SFW, non-dating community for adults 18+ who crossdress. Because participation in this community can be personal, we treat privacy and safety as core product requirements.
We collect information needed to operate accounts, manage private beta access, provide community features, review safety issues, prevent abuse, send service messages, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to our landing page, waitlist, beta feedback tools, mobile app, API, moderation tools, emails, and related services. It does not apply to websites, services, or communities that we do not operate.
If CrossdresserLand later transfers operations to a limited liability company, corporation, or another legal entity, we will update this Policy and provide notice where required.
3. Information we collect
Account and authentication information
We collect your email address, one-time passcode challenge information, session token records, account status, staff role if applicable, and related security records. We may process IP address, hashed IP address, user agent, timestamps, and similar technical data to secure accounts and prevent abuse.
Profile and onboarding information
We collect information you provide during onboarding or profile updates, such as pseudonym, pronouns, bio, avatar file path, date of birth or age confirmation, privacy settings, account safety settings, and SFW community pledge status. We also collect the coarse location you choose or confirm during onboarding, such as country, region or state, and city.
To make onboarding easier, we may use your request IP address to suggest a default country, region or state, city, and timezone. This suggestion is approximate, may be wrong, and is shown so you can accept or change it before saving your profile. We do not use GPS, background location, nearby-user matching, check-ins, or route history.
Community content and activity
We collect the content and metadata needed to provide community features, including posts, comments, group posts, group membership, reactions, resource bookmarks, blocks, reports, moderation appeals, notification records, and timestamps.
Media and file information
If you upload media, we collect file paths, content type, size, dimensions, file ownership records, moderation status, review results, derivative file records, and related upload or read URL activity. Uploaded media may be reviewed to enforce SFW and safety standards.
Waitlist, beta feedback, and communications
If you join the waitlist or submit beta feedback, we collect your email address, selected priority, source, topic, rating if provided, feedback text, marketing attribution parameters from the link you used to reach us, referrer information, landing page path, and related metadata. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in that communication.
Device, usage, and log information
We may collect app, browser, device, API, diagnostic, and log information, including pages or features used, error events, request metadata, approximate location inferred from IP address, and timestamps. IP based location lookup is used only to suggest default onboarding fields and for security or abuse prevention; the final profile location is the country, region or state, and city that you choose or confirm.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, waitlist operation, marketing attribution, and basic site functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
4. Sensitive information and community privacy
Crossdressing, gender expression, photos, reports, and community participation may reveal sensitive or personal information about you. We do not require legal names, public social profiles, contact imports, or precise location. We do not offer location tracking, nearby discovery, check-ins, or location-based matching. You should avoid posting anything that identifies you or another person unless you are comfortable with that disclosure inside the community.
We process sensitive information only as needed to provide the service, protect users, moderate content, comply with law, and honor your choices. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics for advertising.

6. Legal bases for EEA, UK, and similar regions
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on contract performance to provide the service, legitimate interests to secure and improve the community, consent where required for optional communications or certain technologies, and legal obligation where we must comply with applicable law.
8. Visibility and privacy controls
CrossdresserLand is designed around pseudonyms, private beta access, SFW review, member-only surfaces, and profile visibility controls. Some content you post may be visible to approved members or moderators. Reports, appeals, and moderation records may be visible to staff for safety and audit purposes.
9. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain safety records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. Account, post, moderation, report, audit, and security records may be retained after deletion when necessary for safety, legal compliance, or abuse prevention. Expired OTP challenges and sessions may be deleted through routine maintenance. We do not separately store an IP-derived location suggestion as a profile record unless you choose or confirm that location during onboarding.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal of a privacy decision. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
11. California privacy notice
This section supplements the Policy for California residents. In the last 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, account and profile information, internet or electronic activity, user-generated content, photos or media you upload, approximate location inferred from IP address, coarse profile location you choose or confirm, inferences from product activity, and sensitive information if you choose to include it in your profile, posts, media, reports, or feedback.
Sources include you, your device, your use of the service, moderators, other members who report content, and service providers. We use these categories for the purposes described in this Policy. We may disclose these categories to service providers, moderators, administrators, authorities when required, and other members according to product visibility settings.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12. International data transfers
CrossdresserLand may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, session controls, moderation workflows, limited staff access, and secure service providers. No system is perfectly secure, so you should use a private email address, protect your device, and avoid posting identifying information.
14. Adults only
CrossdresserLand is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the product, law, or our practices change. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the website, app, email, or another appropriate method. The effective date shows when this Policy was last updated.
